I am a UK-trained ophthalmologist with over two decades of medical experience.
But what I’ve learned about healing didn’t come from textbooks — it came from walking through heartbreak, a complex custody battle, and profound inner healing.
After nearly twenty years in the UK, I returned to Malaysia to continue my medical practice. Yet the move wasn’t simply a return to my birth country — it was a return home to myself.
In Chinese, the character 觉 (jué) means to sense, to awaken, to perceive. This character has become the quiet emblem of my work. Because clear sight doesn’t always mean clear vision — true healing is about awakening to what has always been within.
Today, alongside my medical work, I offer trauma-informed, neuroscience-integrated coaching for seekers in transition — those ready to reclaim clarity, wholeness, and quiet strength.

Many of us enter the healing professions — doctors, nurses, therapists — believing it is our job to remove pain.
But what we call “healing” is often a projection.
We try to fix in others what we have abandoned in ourselves.
I have walked that path too — the heroine who skipped meals, ignored my body, tolerated systems that demanded performance instead of presence.
True healing isn’t found in erasing symptoms.
It’s found in returning to the self.
